⊰ We spotted two ⊱

Not the Actual photo

During my service, I injured my knee at the end of Magav recruit training, and I had to transfer to an office position. My commanding officer, who worked in weapon development for an elite unit, was ALWAYS late.

One day, he invited a group of important officers from other units to a meeting, and of course, he was late. Again.
There they were, sitting in the conference room, waiting.

I was worried they might ask me to do something like make them coffee or whatever. So, I came up with a way to keep them occupied - In the room, there was a large framed picture of a view of the Jerusalem forest. I told them that troops from our second unit, wearing full camouflage suits, were hidden in that picture. Then I left the room. It was just an ordinary picture - there was nothing to find.

When I returned, they proudly announced, “We spotted two of them!”
I almost choked, trying not to burst out laughing.
Whoever said, “When you’re looking for something, you’ll find it,” was right.
It was like the army version of Where’s Waldo - only without Waldo.
