⊰ Brain Programming ⊱

Tel Aviv University, Faculty of Life Sciences, First Year – Undergraduate Studies

In the summer before the start of the academic year, I went through the elective courses in the Yedi-on course catalog, which was then a printed book (how old are you?), and one course caught my eye - a light, two-credit course titled "Programming and Understanding the Brain."
I thought it would cover possible influences on the brain - behavioral changes, conditioning, the effects of hormones, etc.

The academic year began, and I arrived at the classroom where the course was held. To my great surprise, it turned out to be a basic programming course…

As it turned out, there wasn’t enough space in the course title line for the text "Programming and Understanding the Computer" (in Hebrew the word computer starts with the word brain) so I accidentally ended up studying C++ and even got a grade above 90 in the course.

This picture was taken at Sheba, many years later. Reminded me of the course.
